NEW LONDON, CT — The police department has issued a statement to the community following an increase in shootings.
In the least six weeks, there have been six shootings in the city, according to The Day of New London. Those shootings have led to one death and one arrest.
A suspected murder-suicide occurred Saturday morning in New London. The woman injured in the shooting was in critical condition.
