New London Police to Take Part in National Drug Take Back Initiative

NEW LONDON, CT – The New London Police Department said the will be participating in the National Drug Take Back Initiative this weekend.

The event is hosted by the Drug Enforcement Administration on Saturday. New London Police will be on hand in the lobby of the police department to take back perscription drugs or medicines from the public.

Officers will be available between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to facilitate the initiative.
