New London Restaurant To Use Robot Servers

NEW LONDON, CT — A local restaurant is taking a different approach to combating staff shortages by using robot servers, according to FOX 61. The Shaking Crab, which has two dozen locations, will open to the public in early October.

The restaurant will use regular waiters and waitresses for explaining the menu and taking orders, then the robots will bring the meals out. The owner said that the move is part showmanship, part addressing staff shortages, according to FOX 61.
