New London Schools Employee Sentenced To Prison For Sex Assaults
A former middle school employee has been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting two students.
NEW LONDON, CT — Corriche Gaskin, a New London middle school employee who sexually assaulted two students, was sentenced to seven years in prison Tuesday, according to The New London Day.
Gaskin, a climate control specialist working with troubled youth, was accused of sexually assaulting two girls while working at Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School.
Gaskin was accused of violently raping a victim in his office, then threatening to kill her if she said anything. Gaskin faced several charges including second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

In February, Gaskin pleaded no contest to two charges of risk of injury to a minor under a plea agreement with state prosecutors, The New London Day reported.
The assaults occurred in 2016 and 2017, but were brought to light in 2019 and led to an investigation by the district and the state Department of Children and Families.
