The center is expected to open in November and stay open every night until March.

NEW LONDON, CT – The Covenant Shelter of New London will provide a warming center this winter for the homeless of the region, The Day reported.

The shelter is making room for about 15 men and 15 women, according to The Day. The center is expected to open by Nov. 15 and stay open every night until March 15.

All visitors to the shelter are registered with the agency, but the warming will be open to almost anyone who needs shelter, The Day reported. The shelter shared duties of providing a warming center last year with the New London Homeless Hospitality Center.
