New London Travelers Can Now Travel by Hovercraft
A former Wall Street banker has been launching his crafts for a few months now.
NEW LONDON, CT – People leaving New London Harbor now have the option to board a hovercraft to do so, according to Fox 61.
A former Wall Street banker began launching Vanair Vanguard crafts back in May, Fox 61 reported. His venture is called Blackbird Hovercraft Charters.
The crafts stop in Long Island and Rhode Island, in addition to all around Connecticut, Fox 61 reported. The hovercraft operates more like a helicopter than a boat, and is a popular mode of transportation in Europe.
