New London Woman Injured After Third Floor Porch Collapses

NEW LONDON, CT – A woman was taken to the hospital following a porch collapse Monday, The Day reported.

Police said the female Willets Avenue resident was on the third-floor rear porch when it collapsed, according to The Day. She then landed on the first-floor porch.

The cause of the collapse is being investigated by the city building official, The Day reported. No one else was injured as a result of the incident.
