New Parking Rates Established for New London

NEW LONDON, CT - The New London Parking Authority has settled on new parking rates for the city, the New London Day reported.

Significant changes made by the authority include discounted rates for multiple-month purchases for on-street permit parking, the New London Day reported. Price rates range from $50 a month for three months to $40 a month for six months and $30 a month for a full year.

Rules at the newly constructed downtown municipal parking lot have also shifted, according to the New London Day. The rate there will be set at 50 cents an hour with a two-hour minimum and daily maximum of $8 for 12 hours starting April 1.
