New Principal Named for New London Magnet School
School officials said the new principal has been chosen among a pool of highly qualified candidates to apply for the position.
NEW LONDON, CT - A new principal has been hired for New London’s newest magnet school, the New London Day reported.
Jose A. Ortiz was named principal at C.B. Jennings Dual Language and International Elementary Magnet School, according to the New London Day. He will be replacing the current interim principal, Jaye Wilson.
Ortiz is a longtime educator with expertise in dual-language immersion and bilingualism, the New London Day reported. School officials said he has been chosen among a pool of highly qualified candidates to apply for the position.
