NEW LONDON, CT - A new addition to New London's roster of restaurants, 385 Bank, officially opened last week, offering classic cuisine with a twist, the New London Day reported. The 56-seat restaurant and bar is set to feature a wide range of cooking styles, including American, Mediterranean and French.

The restaurant's executive chef, Eric Delano, previously worked at Gaspar's and Octane among other high-end positions, according to the New London Day. The menu features a number of enticing menu items, including a lobster pop tart served with a mini clothesline of bacon and a classic s'mores dish for two.

Owner Dawn Thompson hopes guests will enjoy the unusual plating of some of the dishes, hoped to help the new eatery stand out from other area restaurants, the New London Day reported. The restaurant already has more than 500 Facebook followers after only three weeks in business.
