Police Arrest Man Found Passed Out In Vehicle In New London: Report
Police said officers recently arrested a man found passed out behind the wheel of his car in New London.
NEW LONDON, CT - Police said officers recently arrested a man found passed out behind the wheel of his car, News 8 reported. The incident occurred Friday in the middle of the afternoon, police said.
Officers found 45-year-old Allan Jones inside his car around 3 p.m. in the area of Route 1 and Cross Street, according to News 8. Police said the suspect was unresponsive, whith his foot on the brake pedal and the vehicle running. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said Jones was found clutching a cellophane cigarette wrapper containing crack cocaine, as reported by News 8. Officers also found pills and a crack pipe inside the vehicle, police said.
