Police Arrest New London Man on Strangulation Charges
Rasheem M. Hall was arrested by Waterford Police after allegedly assaulting a woman in a domestic violence incident.

On Thursday, Nov. 5, Waterford Police arrested Rasheem M. Hall, 29, of 19 Jay St., New London, in connection with a domestic violence investigation.
According to police, Hall was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Waterford Police Department. He allegedly assaulted a woman with whom he had a domestic relationship and was arrested on the following charges:
- Assault in the 2nd Degree
- Strangulation in the 1st Degree (3 Counts)
- Risk of Injury to a Minor
- Violation of a Standing Criminal Protective Order
- Violation of a Protective Order
He was held on $250,000 bond, pending arraignment.

“The Waterford Police Department wishes to thank the New London Police Department for their assistance in initially attempting to locate Hall, and later for their arrest that allowed us to serve our warrant,” Detective Sergeant Edward DeLaura said in the press release.
