Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges from Separate Search Warrants: Report
Police searched two separate apartments and arrested two men as a result.
NEW LONDON, CT – Police said they arrested two men Thursday morning after finding drugs, a loaded handgun and more while searching their apartments, according to The Day.
Narcotics officers and members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force searched the Hope Street apartment of Jermaine Smith, 32, and found cocaine, 21 grams of marijuana and $640, The Day reported. He was subsequently arrested and held on bond.
Police performed a separate search of a Mountain Avenue apartment, where they allegedly found a loaded gun and narcotics, according to The Day. Juan Gonzales, 41, was arrested on a number of charges and also held on bond.
