Police Conducting Sobriety Checkpoint In New London: PD
The New London Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in New London.

NEW LONDON, CT - The New London Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Friday, December 15, on Water Street. It will be monitored in conjunction with other departments in the area, police said.
The checkpoint will focus on both drug and alcohol-related impaired driving, and is being supported by the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Grant program, according to a release.
The grant also incorporates roving patrols targeting impaired and unsafe drivers, police said.
