Police Holding Coyote Community Forum in New London
New London is hosting a community meeting to discuss local concerns regarding the coyote population in the city.

NEW LONDON,C T - Members of the City Administration and the New London Police Department will host a community meeting to discuss local concerns regarding the coyote population in the city Monday night. The meeting will take place at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria of Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School.
A Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) nuisance wildlife biologist will also be present, according to a release. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
The goal of the meeting is to listen to concerns, address issues and share accurate information with the community.

New London is proactively working with the State DEEP to address the concerns of residents and manage reasonable solutions to best deal with the wildlife “coyote” population. Solutions are aimed to insure the protection of citizens, domestic pets and wildlife.
The event is open to the public, and all with questions or concerns are encouraged to attend.
