Police Seize 18 Grams of Cocaine, 1.51 Kilograms of Heroin in New London
Police seized 18 grams of cocaine, 1.51 kilograms of heroin and more during a traffic stop and subsequent search in New London.
NEW LONDON CT - The New London Police Department narcotics officers and members of the Connecticut State Police - Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East concluded a month long narcotics investigation into a major Heroin distributor.
Police said the investigation resulted in officers conducting a traffic stop and finding Yeudi Lora-Capellan, 29, and Yohendy Gonzalez, 26, in possession of heroin during a traffic stop. The arrest occurred Monday at approximately 8:53 p.m., according to a release. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Officers executed a search and seizure warrant at 114 Blinman Street following the traffic stop, police said. Police said approximately 18 grams of cocaine, 1.51 kilograms of heroin, narcotics paraphernalia, a motor vehicle and $6,120 were seized as a result of the investigation.

Lora-Capellan was charged with possession of narcotics and operating a drug factory among other charges. Gonzalez was charged with possession of narcotics.
