Previously Convicted Man Charged in New London Bank Robbery: Police
A Groton man with a past conviction was recently arrested for his alleged role in a New London bank robbery.

NEW LONDON, CT - A Groton man with a past conviction has been charged in a New London bank robbery, The Day reported.
Anthony Rowe, 48, was arrested Thursday in connection to the robbery of the Montauk Avenue branch of the Chelsea Groton Bank, according to The Day. The robbery occurred Wednesday, during which no weapons were shown or injuries were reported.
The suspect had previously been convicted of robbing two separate cabs in 2008, for which he was sentenced to seven years in prison, The Day reported. Rowe at the time admitted to the crime, claiming to be homeless and under the influence of crack cocaine.
