Red Cross Helps 5 Victims of New London Apartment Fire

NEW LONDON, CT - After an apartment complex fire Sunday, the American Red Cross helped five people, The Day reported.
Red Cross volunteers helped make sure victims affected of the fire had a place to stay for the night and urgent needs were met, according to The Day. Volunteers typically help victims of fires find a safe place, food and clothes.
The fire was put out by New London firefighters close to 10:30 a.m., according to The Day. The fire went off when occupants were not home.
