As Hurricane Jose makes its way towards southern Connecticut, local boaters are working to prepare for the big storm.

NEW LONDON, CT - As Hurricane Jose makes its way towards southern Connecticut, local boaters are working to prepare for the big storm, News 8 reported.
A large concern for the oncoming storm is swells sending boats either crashing into each other or into the docks, according to News 8. Due to this, marinas may receive requests from owners to have their vessels pulled from the water.
