Spread The Seeds of Change For Children Holiday Gift Drive

Many holiday toy and gift drives are not taking place this year due to COVID19 guidelines and restrictions. The Charity Challenge.net, an event-based fundraising organization, has stepped up and is pleased to announce that their Holiday Gift Drive will be taking place region wide.

The “Spread the Seeds” theme is designed to encourage and “grow” compassion all year through.

Working in partnership with DCF, TriCircle, Inc. and Bags of Hope, this year’s gift drive will provide holiday gifts to children and families in DCF care throughout Region 3 which is comprised of eastern CT’s 3 DCF offices in Willimantic, Norwich and Middletown.

Donations can be left in the red and green pallet collection boxes and donors may take a plantable seed card, with a powerful message, to serve as food for thought and a token of appreciation.
In order to have an impact all year long, cash/check donations are being accepted. A fund has been created, for use throughout the coming year. When situations arise, social workers will be able to submit emergency requests and fund vital needs.
