State Approves $4.5 Million for New London Port Repairs, Improvements
The state has approved $4.5 million for upgrades at the Port of New London.
NEW LONDON, CT - The state has approved $4.5 million for upgrades at the Port of New London, as reported by The Day.
The money will go towards repairs and improvements at the port, according to The Day. These include improving lighting and security measures, as well as repairing some of the docks.
The funds were approved by the state Bond Commission on Wednesday, The Day reported. The port is one of three deep water ports in the state.
