State Capitol Interns Recognized By New London Senator
State Senator Paul Formica recognized two interns that have worked for his office as part of the state's Intern Recognition event.
HARTFORD, CT – State Senator Paul Formica (Republican-East Lyme) applauded the hard work of the Connecticut General Assembly’s legislative interns at a ceremony at the state Capitol.
As part of the state’s Intern Recognition event, Formica also recognized two interns that have worked for his office directly: Mike Paternostro of Quinnipiac University and Dave Schultz of Manchester Community College.
“Education happens not only in the classroom; it also happens through experience," Formica said in a release. "The legislative internship program creates opportunities for some very eye opening learning experiences for young adults and those looking to embark on a new career path. I applaud all the interns who have dedicated their time to the legislature to learn more about state government and to broaden their horizons and their view of the world.”
