Students, School Fondly Remembers New London Football Director After Unexpected Death
Wrighten was devoted to his job and the kids who were a part of it.

NEW LONDON, CT - A New London football coach who died unexpectedly Friday is being remembered for his devotion to kids, The Day reported.
Terry Wrighten, 36, was the football director of the New London Youth Football League, according to The Day. He had previously played in the league himself.
Wrighten was devoted to his job and the kids who were a part of it, taking time to learn the names of almost 175 football players each year, The Day reported. He also pushed the league to emphasize performance in school in addition to on the field.
