Book Lovers’ To Do List

As fall begins, we want to remind you and your book lover friends to do the following:

1. Save Saturday, November 2nd on your calendar.

2. Put a few books by Beatriz Williams, our 2019 Celebrity Author, on your reading list.

She is a New York Times and internationally bestselling author of historical fiction. Her titles include A Hundred Summers, The Secret Life of Violet Grant, Along the Infinite Sea, A Certain Age, Tiny Little Thing, Overseas, and her newest hardback, The Golden Hour. In addition, she has also co-authored several popular books (The Glass Ocean and The For-gotten Room) with Lauren Willig and Karen White.

Beatriz currently resides in Old Lyme with her husband and four children. She is a gradu-ate of Stanford University and has an MBA from Columbia.

Your ticket to the event will include a copy of Beatriz’s newly released paperback, The Summer Wives. When it debuted in hardcover, it quickly became a New York Times best-seller. The book, as well as the fictional Winthrop Island, was inspired by—but is not identical to—the real-life Fishers Island. Beatriz is currently in the process of adapting the book for television with John Wells Productions.

3. Start inviting your friends to join us for Beatriz’s book talk, book signing, and lunch-eon to be catered by Pasta Vita. Bank Square Books will have a number of her other titles for sale at the event. She will be glad to personalize her books at the book signing.
