Two Men Shot; Both Walk Into New London Hospital for Treatment

On Sunday, September 14, 2014 at approximately 6:00 a.m., a 31-year-old male victim walked into the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound. Approximately 30 minutes later, a second male arrived at the hospital, also with a gunshot wound.

The preliminary investigation determined that the shootings occurred somewhere near Montauk Avenue and Fair Harbour Place, and that the shootings are related to one another.

The injuries do not appear to be life threatening at this time.
