Walk To End Alzheimer's In New London

The Alzheimer's Association is inviting residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer's.

NEW LONDON, CT - From Alzheimer's Association: The Alzheimer’s Association® is inviting New London and surrounding town’s residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk will take place on September 15 at Ocean Beach Park in New London.

Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's participants will complete a 2 mile walk and will learn about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.

“We are hopeful the community will come out and support us raising money for a cure for Alzheimer’s. For me, the walk is personal because I watched my grandmother suffer from this dreadful disease. The walk signifies what our community can do to fight Alzheimer’s when we come together,” shared Greg Brown, New London Walk Manager.
