Woman Found Dead At New London Homeless Shelter
Police are investigating the death of Jeanine Zack, 40, found dead at the New London Homeless Hospitality Center.
NEW LONDON, CT—Police are investigating the death of a woman at the Homeless Hospitality Center, New London Police Capt. Brian Wright told The Day.
Police have identified the woman as 40-year-old Jeanine Zack of "no certain address." Wright said police and fire responded to the shelter at 7:14 a.m. Friday and when they arrived, paramedics found Zack dead.
Wright said that there were no apparent or "obvious signs of trauma" or "evidence suspicious in nature..." related to Zack's death.

Wright said the official cause of death is unknown and the investigation remains ongoing and the New London County States Attorney's Office and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner were notified.
According to its Facebook page, the Homeless Hospitality Center "provides a place of safety and welcome to all southeastern Connecticut adults who find themselves facing homelessness."
