Woman Rescued After Falling Through New London Construction Site Floor
Fire officials said a woman fell about 12 feet from the first floor to the basement of a New London construction site.
NEW LONDON, CT - A woman was rescued after falling through the floor at a New London construction site, the New London Day reported.
Emergency crews pulled 21-year old Kerrianne Doherty of Matawan, New Jersey, from the basement of an apartment building that was under-construction, according to the New London Day. Fire officials said she fell from the first floor of the building Wednesday night.
The woman suffered an arm fracture and some facial injuries after falling approximately 12 feet, the New London Day reported. Police are still investigating the situation.
