Harrybrooke Park in New Milford Prepares to Scare
Harrybrooke Park will be hosting the fifth annual Haunted Trail two weekends in October.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Harrybrooke Park will be hosting the fifth annual Haunted Trail two weekends in October.
All of the event's proceeds go to benefit the park and local charities. Beneficiaries this year include the New Milford Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Lakes Youth Group, New Milford United Methodist Church, The Children's Center, Boy Scout Troop 66, Wildlife Line and the NMHS Grad Party Committee.
Organizers of the event caution that it is not intended for children under the age of 12, nor is it recommended for "anyone with a heart condition or issues with fast flashing lights." The event takes place along a trail in the woods and so may be inaccessible for visitors who cannot walk the trail's distance of about 1 mile.
