Speed Clinic Benefit to be Held for New Milford Boy
Clinic attendees will learn techniques to improve their sprinting performance from a Training for Warriors coach.

NEW MILFORD. CT — Two Bethel organizations will be hosting a fundraiser for a New Milford boy with a brain tumor on Saturday.
Training for Warriors, a physical fitness training organization, and the Scotty Fund, a charity designed to ease the financial burdens of families caring for seriously ill children, are sponsoring "Sprint for Charity." The speed clinic will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Gymnastics Revolution in Danbury.
The beneficiary will be 13-year old Tim Larson of New Milford, diagnosed this past June with ependymoma grade 2 brain tumor, according to his Facebook page. Since his diagnosis, Larson has undergone several surgeries as well as chemo- and radiation therapies. His mother has left her job to facilitate his care.
