30th Annual Holiday Festival
Newtown Savings Bank Presents the 30th Annual Holiday Festival to benefit Newtown Youth and Family Services

NEWTOWN, CT – For the thirtieth year, Newtown Savings Bank will present the Annual Holiday Festival on Sunday, December 6th, 2015 from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. This event is one of the areas longest running holiday events and benefits Newtown Youth & Family Services (NYFS). The festival will feature narrated historical trolley rides through the Newtown Borough, the Historic House Tours on Main Street, the Festival of Trees, the Nutcracker Suite Ballet performed by Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet, a Holiday Tea sponsored by Newtown Savings Bank, and much more!
In addition to celebrating this family tradition that brings together many generations, NYFS will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Polar Express with a replica of the Polar Express. “We are excited and thankful for this new attraction sponsored by the Newtown Prevention Council,” said Matt Ariniello of NYFS. “Children and families will have a great time while they take the train ride down Main Street.” Tickets are $3.00 and are separate from the general admission. There is no Pre-Sale for the train tickets, tickets can be purchased the of the event. The train rides will run throughout the event. Joining in on the fun will be the Booth Library which will host a reading of the Polar Express at 1:!5 pm.
General admission tickets for the Holiday Festival are available at Newtown Savings Bank Main St. and Sand Hill Plaza locations, NYFS 15 Berkshire Rd. from 9:00am-4:00pm, or online by visiting www.Newtownyouthandfamilyservices.org. The cost is $12 for individuals and $25 for families (2 Adults, 2 Children). Each additional child is $5. Proceeds from the Holiday Festival will assist with financial assistance for programs and services. All activities will take place at Edmond Town Hall.
