All 26 Where Angels Play Playgrounds to Honor Newtown Victims Completed

The idea was two-fold; honor the victims of the shooting while rebuilding areas wrecked by Hurricane Sandy

The man behind the idea to create 26 playgrounds in areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy to honor the 26 victims of the Newtown shooting reflected on the project now that the last playground has been built.

Bill Lavin came up with the idea not long after the Dec. 14 shooting. The idea was two-fold; honor the victims of the shooting while rebuilding areas that were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, according to WFSB.

The project Where Angels Play has playgrounds across New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
