Newtown Friends of Music Held Annual Meeting
and Elected Officers
The Newtown Friends of Music recently met in Edmond Town Hall to hold their Annual Meeting. In the room dedicated to the benefactress of Newtown, Mary Elizabeth Hawley, members celebrated the successful conclusion of their 34th season presenting exquisite music – superbly performed.

They heard the all-inclusive report of the directors, the Annual Financial Report given by the treasurer, and elected a new slate.
Newly elected to the board was Judith Rosenberg. Robert Shohet was elected Vice-President.Re-elected were Ellen Parrella, president; Dorothea LaBelle, treasurer; and William C Timmel, secretary. Also elected were directors Lea Attanasio, Michel Dolivo, Kaia Fahrenholz, Paul Gehrett, Lea Kinstler, and Joan Popovic.

Immediately following the Annual Meeting the group went to work on the 2012/2013 season, its 35th anniversary year, which will showcase six exciting concerts, all on a Sunday afternoon.
