
The Newtown Lions Club raised $500 in support for people with disabilities, served by Ability Beyond Disability.
The Newtown Lions Club has been a donor to the organization for over twenty years and most recently completed a volunteer project at one of the organization’s group homes in Newtown.
“We thank the Newtown Lions Club for their generosity and support for our mission. Community support helps us to provide more opportunities for people with disabilities in our community,” says Kim Bragoli, Director of Development and Communications at Ability Beyond Disability.

Ability Beyond Disability is a 501{c} (3) organization headquartered in Bethel, Conn. and Mount Kisco, N.Y. It provides a wide range of services for approximately 1,800 people with a disability that inhibits their activities of daily living -- including numerous residential alternatives, employment training, career counseling, job placement services, cognitive and life skills instruction, clinical and therapeutic support, and volunteer and recreational activities.
