The shed had propane and gas tanks, which could have made matters much worse.

SANDY HOOK, CT — Firefighters fortunately averted a crisis during a response to a fire in a large shed Thursday night, reports the News Times.
Sandy Hook Firefighters responded to the converted workshop on Poplar Drive at 10 p.m. to find that the structure was fully engulfed in flames. Acting quickly with the homeowner's help, firefighters removed gas, acetylene and propane tanks before they caught on fire.
Crews were also able to douse the blaze before it spread to the home, which was 20 feet from the shed that the owner converted to a woodshop.
