This November, spend a cozy evening at the sanctuary getting creative and bringing a little bit of nature home with you!
At this hands-on holiday workshop, you’ll create three beautiful, nature-inspired gifts and seasonal decorations to enjoy yourself or share with someone special. Make a fragrant DIY simmer pot filled with seasonal ingredients, design a dried citrus garland using a colorful mix of oranges, grapefruits, lemons and limes, and create clay ornaments pressed with greenery gathered from nature.
We’ll provide all the materials and plenty of inspiration, along with a selection of decorative accents to make each creation uniquely yours. Just bring your favorite beverage - BYOB! - and get ready for a festive evening of crafting and a little holiday cheer.
Class is led by Herbalist Melissa Lewis, owner of Balms in New Milford, a beloved herb shop offering organic and ethically harvested herbs and remedies. With nearly a decade of study and hundreds of certified herbal training hours, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for sharing the healing power of plants.
