Eagle Project Shoe Drive for Ethan Burg, Troop 370, Newtown

Hi my name is Ethan Burg. I am a scout from Troop 370, Newtown, who is currently trying to complete my Eagle Scout project in order to obtain the rank of Eagle from the Boy Scouts of America. For my project I will be collecting any type of footwear in any condition through the organization Soles4Souls which donates or recycles these shoes to benefit the impoverished. I will have collection boxes for donations at Olympia Sports in Sand Hill Plaza and New Balance Shoes in Bethel and NYA Fitness center and the Newtown High School lobby from 11/16/15 to 12/18/15. If you could please donate your old and used footwear to help out those in need of such basic necessities it would be greatly appreciated and also help me fulfill my project goals and complete my Eagle rank requirements. Donation of footwear to less fortunate people can make their lives more comfortable, protect them from injury and provide them with the tools necessary to live a healthier, more active and enjoyable life. Please donate whatever you can.
