Fairfield Prep's Anthony Adamcheck commits to Penn State Rugby

Scholar Athlete gains college athletics opportunity

Senior Anthony Adamcheck has committed to continue his strong Prep Rugby career at Penn State where he will begin college in the fall of 2017. Anthony is an accomplished varsity athlete in both football and rugby and has been recognized among his coaches and teammates in Prep’s rugby program for his dedication and leadership, being named as a captain of this year’s varsity team. In his academic life Anthony is a dedicated student who has grown well, having achieved a solid B average over his past three and a half years while achieving at his best in junior and senior years. As he has risen in his academic and athletic life Anthony has engaged growth opportunities at Prep. He has been a member of Prep’s Debate Club and has embraced the ideal of service by his commitment to the Jewish Community Center as well as through his participation in Prep’s Squires service organization. Adam is a resident of Newtown.
