Medical Waste Dumping In Newtown Investigated
There have been at least seven separate occasions where medical waste was dumped in town.

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are investigating after medical waste was dumped in town on at least seven separate occasions.
A resident on Plumtrees Road in the area of Taunton Hill Road reported that medical waste had been discarded over the past year. Used ostomy bags were tossed on the side of the road in the general area of the residence, but it doesn't appear that the resident is a target, said Lt. Aaron Bahamonde, police spokesman.
Ostomy bags are commonly used to collect waste after certain operations such as a colostomy.
