Rafel Sgammato, Board Certified Music Therapist and owner of Nostalgic Notes, LLC, specializes in work with seniors and dementia care. She does individual and group sessions in private homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.
Ms. Sgammato will be at Old Glory Days adult day center for regular group sessions and 2 upcoming sessions that are open to the public. Old Glory Days provides supervision, socialization, and activities for seniors with dementia. In addition to games, arts and crafts, puzzles and exercise, there are monthly programs that include music therapy, art therapy, and wellness visits from a nurse.
Music with Neighbors is for adults of all ages, music lovers of all abilities, and is meant to be a fun night out in the community. It is being held Thursday, October 15th at 11:00 AM, and Thursday, October 29th at 5:30 PM. The fee is $5.00. For more information go to www.nostalgicnotesllc.com.
