'Newtown and Beyond' Returns to Municipal Center
Flagpole photographers to hold its exhibit at the Municipal Center in October.
The Flagpole Photographers will host an exhibit at the Municipal Center for most of next month, with an opening reception scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m., Sun., Oct. 2.
With the support of First Selectman Pat Llodra, the club will showcase more than 150 photographs taken by the club's members along the walls of the Municipal Center from Oct. 2 through Oct. 27. This is the second year the club has organized the exhibit.
The photographs will be available to the viewing public only on weekdays, with the exception of the opening reception, where desserts and beverages will be served and music will be played, organizers said.

The group will meet briefly in the library of the church's lower level, and weather permitting, venture outside to practice their skills.
