Petey the dog

What a handsome lad! Who could resist this happy 2-3 year old Coonhound mix? Petey has a lot of energy, and while he is learning basic obedience, he will need an owner who is ready, willing and able to continue training him. His original owner kept him crated most of the time, and surrendered him so that he could have a more active life. Petey wants to please, but still needs some basic training. He is young enough to love playtime, but needs some help understanding the whole ‘leash thing’. Staff and volunteers are working with him daily. He is currenly taking level one Basic Obedience class at Cassio Kennels and doing very well .

As with all of the animals at the Brian J. Silverlieb Animal Care and Control Center, Petey is neutered and current with all medical needs.
