Newtown Bank Robber Caught: PD

The woman is accused of robbing a bank with a pocket knife, according to police.

NEWTOWN, CT — Officers apprehended a Sandy Hook woman accused of robbing a bank with a pocket knifeMonday afternoon, according to police.

Kathlynn Achilles is accused of giving a teller at United Savings a note demanding money, according to the News-Times. She left the bank with $2,700, but was chased and captured by police behind St. Rose School.

No one was injured in the incident.
