Newtown Blotter: DWI, Burglary, Trespassing at Fairfield Hills
Recent incidents reported by Newtown Police.
DWI
An Easton man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after an accident on August 15.
An accident happened near 228 South Main Street, police said.

Matthew Politi, 22, of Easton was charged with DWI, following too close and possession of a controlled substance.

Burglary
A burglary was reported on the morning of August 16 on Philo Curtis Road.
Items were removed from the residence through an unlocked window sometime between 11:30 p.m. August 15 and 6 a.m. August 16.
Fairfield Hills Trespassing
Three juveniles were charged for trespassing at Fairfield Hills on July 30.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. and detained one juvenile. Two others were located after fleeing from police.
They were all charged with simple trespass and released to their respective parents.
