Since moving here in 2011 we have noticed a concerning trend in the quality of life which has shaken the very core of this town. Newtown needs to forge ahead as a leader in the State, not a follower of the failed policies of over taxation and lack of fiscal discipline. We want to draw people in not push them to neighboring communities. To many folks are overburdened with the unrealistic expectations of its constituents from current local government and determined to leave Newtown. As a elected leaders I believe we have a responsibility and must find a solution working together for the good of Newtown we all love.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have a handle on the issues in Newtown. Will use common sense and transparency, combined with problem solving, vision and execution.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Not allowing special interests group to dictate towns collective good.

Gain control over un competitive mill rate.

Return of fiscal responsibility.

Having plans moving forward on debt. Our children are our future - the future is foremost on my mind.

Environmental impact of overdevelopment.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I was a major influence in the success of No Tolls CT along with others pushing back Governor Lamont's Toll bills for CT. As President of a 380 unit Coop in NYC I was responsible for writing budgets and financial planning. I returned building to sound economic health through refinancing multi million dollar mortgages combined with restoration of aging structures all the while controlling hard costs and monetary outlays of building residents.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Listen .... don't hear.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am authentic, decisive as well as character driven. My views are conservative yet socially moderate. There are many great folks on both sides of aisle running for positions in local government in Newtown. I humbly ask you might consider voting for me for the good of Newtown on November 5th, 2019.
