Newtown Chamber of Commerce Creates Opportunities To Make Business Connections

The Newtown Chamber of Commerce will be hosting monthly networking events where members and non-members can create new relationships and identify future business opportunities. The first event will be on Tuesday, September 18^th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at The Hook Restaurant at 75 Glen Road, Sandy Hook.  The Chamber invites all business professionals as their guest to enjoy a free glass of beer or wine while making new contacts.

 Tim Haas, Chamber President, explains that the Chamber wants to better serve local businesses by hosting monthly events for everyone to attend. “The goal is to help foster business opportunities in Newtown, and the end of the summer is a great time to make connections and meet potential clients.”

 The event is free to attend. Appetizers will be served and the first drink of beer or wine is on the house. Cash bar will also be available. To RSVP, contact Alice Baye at 203-426-2695 by September 17^th.
