Newtown Community Center Announces Program Coordinator

She is a lifelong resident of Newtown, has been a member of the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission for over ten years

NEWTOWN, CT — The Newtown Community Center director has named Jennifer Cebry to lead programming for the Center.

“Jennifer stood out for her connections to the community and her vision of programs for the center,” said Matt Ariniello, Community Center director. “Jennifer demonstrates a strong passion for program creation. Her background will allow the center to be able to enhance its offerings to our community.”

Jennifer is a lifelong resident of Newtown, has been a member of the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission for over ten years and has been the chairperson of the Newtown Arts Festival the last two years. She is the founder and former owner and artistic director of the Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet where she taught ballet for fifteen years. She also has over 20 years in sales and customer service in the training and consulting field. In her role with the Cultural Arts Commission, she has assisted with program creation.

“I am so excited to join this team and for the opportunity to help make the Newtown Community Center the hub of Newtown where the possibilities are endless. My goal is to set a wide variety of offerings with something for everyone, from health and wellness to the arts, educational training and social events for all ages," said Cebry.
