Newtown Police Department Collecting Excess Prescription Drugs
The collection is part of the DEA's annual effort to safely dispose of prescription medication.

Newtown and Danbury police departments will take part in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s yearly push to safely dispose of prescription medication.
Both collections will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at each police department, according to the News-Times.
