From the Town of Newtown:

Roadside mowing and basin cleaning will take place on various roads this week.

The following is a list of where town crews will be working this week. Please use caution and plan for delays when traveling in these areas:

• Poverty Hollow Road - Bridge Replacement, 1 Week
• Swamp Road - Remove Stumps, 3 Days
• Washington Circle - Install Curbing, 2 Days
• Birch Hill - Drainage, 3 Days
• Brennan Road - Overlay, 2 Days
• Georges Hill Road - Overlay, 2 Days
• Stony Brook - Overlay, 1 Day

Upcoming Roadwork:

• Sugarloaf Road - Drainage, 3 Days
• Tamarack Road - Drainage, 1 Week
