Newtown School District Hiring For 25 Jobs

NEWTOWN, CT — The school year is in its third month and there are still several available jobs the local school district is looking to fill. It's important to note, that these positions are either vacant and or mandated by the state or federal government.

The jobs below include a weight room supervisor, and a girls JV soccer coach at Newtown High School.

The school system is not adding new positions to the budget. Over the past decade, school districts have been reducing positions as enrollment has continued to drop across the state and county.
